About Me

Kate_Lynch_Journalist_1-Blue

Hey there! I’m Kate Lynch, a passionate Formula 1 enthusiast born and raised in the vibrant city of Belfast. My love affair with motorsport began in the early ’90s when my dad would wake me up early on Sunday mornings to watch the races together. Those precious moments sparked a lifelong passion that has only grown stronger with each passing season.

When I’m not analysing race strategies or debating the merits of DRS zones, you can find me working as a mechanical engineer in the automotive industry. This background gives me a unique perspective on the technical aspects of Formula 1, which I love sharing with fellow fans.

Growing up in Northern Ireland, I’ve always had a special connection to racing, inspired by legends like John Watson and Eddie Irvine. I’ve been fortunate enough to attend races at iconic circuits like Silverstone, Spa, and Monza, each experience adding to my deep appreciation for the sport.

Since 2018, I’ve been sharing my thoughts and insights about Formula 1 through my blog, combining my technical knowledge with my pure, unbridled enthusiasm for the sport. Whether I’m breaking down qualifying sessions, analysing race strategies, or sharing paddock gossip, my goal is to bring you closer to the heart of Formula 1.

When I’m not immersed in the world of F1, you might find me tinkering with classic cars, playing sim racing games, or enjoying a pint at my local pub while discussing the latest F1 news with my family and friends.
